I am available 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week by phone and email
from the date of hire. Please don't
hesitate to call or email if you have ANY
questions or just want to update me on
your progress.
1-3 prenatal visits – The first visit in
a no-obligation interview for us to see if
we are a good fit for each other. After
the initial meeting, I will provide 1-2 more
visits depending on your level of need in
your home for education and getting to
know each other better.
Postpartum visits - I come to you,
usually in the hospital the day after your
baby is born to visit. Then I come to your
home on an agreed upon day within 2-3
weeks after the birth to see you and baby
and answer any questions your new family
may have.
Birth Plan Preparation - I will help
you create an appropriate birth plan for
your birth. We will discuss the risks and
benefits of many routine interventions for
you to feel confident about the choices you
would like to make.
Childbirth Class attendance -
should your partner be unable to attend
a class with you, I will fill in for him/her (if
I am available).
Support for you and your partner
through labor, birth, and up to 2 hours
after delivery (if I am needed) I will provide
physical, informational and emotional
support for both you and your partner. I
am able to help you with breastfeeding
initially and at postpartum visits.
