I provide private and semi-private Childbirth Classes. These are taught in your home or mine and are perfect for unpredictable or difficult schedules such as work or frequent travel.

This structure also works out well if you know someone else who is also in need of classes and has a busy schedule. Semi-private classes of 2-3 couples can easily be set up and customized with flexible scheduling. Some of my most exuberant classes have been with close friends or siblings expecting near the same time.

These classes are designed for all types of births offering up-to-date, scientifically founded, unbiased information. We cover all aspects of a normal, healthy pregnancy and birth. We cover how to avoid being high-risk as well as many variations and complications that may arise. We discuss in detail informed options for differing situations so you can be the most prepared.

I show several DVDs in class including actual footage of labor and birth to compliment the curriculum. In addition, we cover postpartum care and thorough breastfeeding instruction. I am also a Bradley® Birth Doula with varied experiences as a professional. I strive to give you, as my student positive tools to be empowered through the birth that you want.

All classes are taught in your home around your schedule. Contact me for class rates. I have taught from Greeley to Colorado Springs, from Conifer to Deer Trail. Additional rates do apply for extensive travel - contact me for details as well as semi-private class rates. In addition to receiving a Student Workbook, I have an extensive lending library of phenomenal books for those avid readers. I also have many DVDs I can lend out since there is just not enough time in class to show them all.

Many Insurance companies and flex-plans will reimburse for the cost of these classes. They are also tax-deductible. I am more than happy to provide adequate receipts for submission and encourage all students and clients to submit a receipt to their Insurance Provider.
